I was testing shooting firework with a tripod on New Year's Eve at the lake front of downtown Chicago. The firework first started around the Buckingham Fountain at 23:57pm, then replaced by fireworks at two separate locations on the lake, one next to Navy Pier, the other next to the lakefront near the Fountain. I took an 11 day trip to the west of the US, and drove 4550 miles. I visited the Pipestone National Monument, Mitchell Corn Palace, Badlands National Park, Mount Rushmore National Monument, Devels Tower National Monument, Yellowstone National Park, Glacier National Park, Theodore Roosevelt National Park, and the Twin Cities.
